Grand Ole Opry
Dear Grand Ole Opry fans,
As you almost certainly know by now, on May 2, the Grand Ole Opry Complex suffered through the worst flood in Music City in over 100 years. We have heard from fans around the world sharing their concern for the Opry family, and we thank each of you for thinking of us.
As a result of the flooding, the Grand Ole Opry has been temporarily displaced from its permanent home, the Opry House. But like country music, itself, ours is a story of perseverance and passion. We are focused on lifting spirits and underscoring that the show goes on. And it is. The Opry will not miss a show as we tour various venues around Music City until we return to the Opry House.
The days ahead are sure to be not only exciting and memorable, but also historic. We'll be visiting venues the Opry has never before played. Country superstars will come calling. And we'll be refurbishing our permanent home in anticipation of a grand homecoming.
We would like you to be a part of it all! Please consider coming to visit us during this time in Nashville. You can also follow everything happening with the Opry over the next few months by registering for our weekly Opry Update email and by following us on Facebook and Twitter. We'll be blogging about Opry events and the refurbishing of the Opry House, posting photos of big stars on stage and big improvements to our home, and more. We'd love to share it all with you.
Here's to that!
